- Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate and respond to the needs of the patient and the surgeon.
- Administer medications and assist with anesthesia management as needed.
- Provide post-operative care and support to patients, ensuring a smooth recovery process.
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and discharge instructions.

**Qualifications:**
- Current RN license in the state of Florida.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in cardiovascular operating room nursing.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
- Dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Patient Care:

Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care; health teaching and counseling of the ill, injured, or infirm; and the promotion of wellness, maintenance of health, and prevention of illness of others. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed practitioner authorized by the laws of this state to prescribe such medications and treatments. This position requires proficiency with EKG rhythm interpretation and Hemodynamics monitoring. Competency with ventilator management and IABP.
 
The Critical Care Department features a 12-bed CVICU, 8-bed ICU and 8-bed Neuroscience ICU.
Qualifications:
- 5 yrs previous ACUTE CARE RN critical care experience required. CCRN and recent CVICU experience Required.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
